MBI postdoctoral positions are renewable annually for up to three years, as we believe that longer appointments will support the development of research programs and career paths of young researchers. However, MBI postdocs have the flexibility of shorter appointments of one or two years, depending on their interest and opportunity. For the year in Mathematical Bioengineering we anticipate and encourage applications for one year postdoctoral appointments. For example, this will allow new PhD's, who may have accepted tenure track appointments, to spend one year at the MBI before taking up their duties at their new institutions.
